As a person that has used Amazon Music for years, it pains me to see the start of it’s destruction. I have purchased and uploaded, when they still allowed uploads, over 13,000 songs. Now with the “new” update, music which I “own”, is now intermixed with music I do not want to hear on playback. Turning all six of my Echo devices into little more than glorified radios, that, at lest for now, still give me weather on demand, they will , probably make me pay extra to get the weather in my actual state soon. To playback any of my purchased songs or playlists made from those songs, I get the my songs shuffled with “similar” music added, which I do not want, designed to irritate consumers into paying to get what they used to get for free, just my music played the way I want it played. I do not want my music shuffled unless I ask for it to be shuffled and if I want to listen to similar music I will ask to listen to similar music. They say this was all done to increase our access to music, we now can access 100 million songs, rather than the paltry 2 million we had before, perhaps a version of Simon Cowell singing “Danke Shcoen”, we all missed. I know, most of the 98 million songs I will not want to listen to, so why are the songs I purchased ruined by these songs I don’t want? Because our anger and frustration, might make us pay for the pleasure of what we once had included with the price we pay for a prime membership, a price that has gone up to $129 a year. The “new” app is now just a way to encourage us to pay the monthly fee Amazon wants, which , given the features, you would find a better app to spend $8.99 a month. The new app is useless for people who own their own music and has destroyed the value in buying music or CDs from Amazon, why buy and get a digital copy when you can’t play it without other music being inserted? Better to buy from Apple, where you can still upload music. If you want a music experience, similar to the old Amazon Music, you should just look to Apple, Google or any of the other music apps, they cost more than Amazon Music unlimited, but they are mulch better. In an attempt to force it’s customers to pay for an extra 98 million songs they did not want or need, Amazon killed Amazon Music, all that is left is a 100 million song commercial meant to anger you into buying Amazon Music Unlimited, no thanks. And you might want to start thinking about canceling your Amazon Prime membership,I have, who knows how long we will continue to get free shipping without another “benefit” like two day shipping being switched to seven day shipping if you don’t pay an extra fee, What’s next, are those Echos we all have require us to pay to ask about a recipe or show a video, Imguess allowing people at Amazon to eavesdrop on your private life will still be included free. Might be time to invest in a Google Nest, more I’m looking into. I was wrong to expect more and better of Amazon, I thought they actually cared about their customers, and would reward loyalty for people that bought their music from Amazon, this update I has proven me wrong. Avoid this App if you own or like listening to music. If you like something that is slightly better than bad radio, this is the app for you.

I’m very pleased with Amazon Music. The Prime membership level doesn’t include some of the new releases, but there’s still a whole world of artists and albums to explore included in your Prime subscription. The sound quality is excellent, it’s easy to add stuff to your own personal music library, you can make and save your own playlists and the Amazon-curated playlists are a great way to discover new artists. If you buy an MP3 album from the Amazon store it’s automatically available in the app for streaming, plus you can download the MP3 files too if you want. If you start listening to an album the play queue will consist of the album tracks, however you can locate or search for other songs and choose ‘play next’ to drop them into the queue to create an on-the-fly playlist. The app works well on my Android phone and the app on my Fire TV Stick shows continuous lyrics for each song. The TV app doesn’t have all the features, but you can search for music using the built-in Alexa voice commands, which is very entertaining if you’ve never used it before! If you’re an old school vinyl and CD owner like me I can recommend signing up for Prime and giving it a go.

Man kann sich Playlisten ohne Ende raussuchen es ist wirklich immer was dabei und das auch für jeden Gescmack. Es lässt sich auch einfach mal eine Playlist für eine Feier erstellen egal ob für klein oder groß neue oder alte Musik es ist alles da. Wir sind alle begeistert und die Bedienung ist auch wirklich einfach egal bei welchen Gerät ob Handy oder via Alexa wir wollen es nicht mehr missen.

I’ve been using Amazon Music Unlimited since it became available and now I’m on Unlimited HD. What you need to understand is that you need to pay for this. It is simply not available with Prime. That deal is extremely limited. Pay the cost and you are handed a music selection that is quite remarkable. It just costs, so get over it and pay the piper. There’s no free lunch! Stop complaining that you can’t get this for free, for heaven’s sake!
But once you pay, it’s quite satisfying. It is somewhat difficult to ask for music Amazon does not have (but it’s possible, of course) and each month the selection seems to improve. Everything is there in lossless CD quality (with HD service) and much is available in even higher quality (so called Ultra HD and their 3D music). That kind of musical high fidelity streaming can’t be beat but it only becomes noticeable if you have the Echo Studios paired in stereo along with an Echo Sub. Otherwise, it’s just not worth it. You can’t hear the HD quality with just a regular Echo speaker. Forget it. The only other option would be the Echo Link.
But HD music sounds so wonderful experienced properly. It’s simply a revolutionary way to listen to music. Everything instantly on demand and of the highest quality. Playlists are a breeze to create and create as many as you like. You can spend the day exploring via the app.
In the last year or so, Amazon has remarkably improved their Classical Music selection. There is now quite a wealth of selections here. Much of it is available in Ultra HD and sounds better than CDs, better than LPs. It is all fairly easily searchable. Most pieces have quite a few performances to choose from.
One of the neatest tricks is Amazon Music’s ability to “Go to the Album” for any single selection. If you combine Amazon Music with your Fire Stick, you can explore it all on your TV. However, the interface there still needs work. Music titles are often clipped and you can’t add to your Playlist from the Fire Stick app. However, the phone app is pretty complete. It does everything easily and gives you virtually complete control.
I highly recommend Amazon Music Unlimited HD. Fifteen a month sounds very reasonable to me for this breadth and depth of selection, utility and control via the app. The Android phone app, with which I’m most familiar, is simply the best. Talk about total control, total selection in the palm of your hand. It’s like having almost everything ever recorded at your fingertips ready to be summoned immediately. Yes, you can ask Alexa to play music, but the Music App gives you infinitely greater, more precise and virtually complete selection control. It has a great search feature. It truly is revolutionary, I feel. Why on earth would you ever use anything else when this is so easy, so complete and so satisfying? Pay the money. It’s so worth it. Virtually everything ever recorded and in the highest fidelity! At your beck and call! We only dreamed of this not long ago.

J’utilise Amazon Music sur mon téléphone Android, mon PC et sur mon Fire TV Cube. Je suis content d’avoir accès à la qualité d’écoute Ultra HD partout, et la musique en Dolby Atmos dans mon salon.
Il y a un manque d’interaction entre les différents périphériques utilisant Amazon Music.
Et surtout, Amazon Music ne garde pas en mémoire la dernière lecture donc impossible de poursuivre automatiquement un playlist quand on revient dans l’application plus tard ou bien que l’on change d’appareil.

“Amazon Music for Fire TV” isn’t a song so much as a product walk-on that somehow earns a hummable review. Imagine clean, tech-showroom production: bright synth pads, a frictionless beat, and a vocal that’s friendly in the way airline PA announcers are friendly. The “lyrics” are basically feature callouts—remote in hand, wallpaper scrolling, living room full of sound—but they’re delivered with a grin you can hear.
It doesn’t want to be poetry; it wants you to press play from the couch. The hook is that little four-note chime that pops up between lines, boring in a spreadsheet, weirdly sticky in a melody. As a person that has used Amazon Music for years, it pains me to see the start of it’s destruction. I have purchased and uploaded, when they still allowed uploads, over 13,000 songs. Now with the “new” update, music which I “own”, is now intermixed with music I do not want to hear on playback. Turning all six of my Echo devices into little more than glorified radios, that, at lest for now, still give me weather on demand, they will , probably make me pay extra to get the weather in my actual state soon. To playback any of my purchased songs or playlists made from those songs, I get the my songs shuffled with “similar” music added, which I do not want, designed to irritate consumers into paying to get what they used to get for free, just my music played the way I want it played. I do not want my music shuffled unless I ask for it to be shuffled and if I want to listen to similar music I will ask to listen to similar music. They say this was all done to increase our access to music, we now can access 100 million songs, rather than the paltry 2 million we had before, perhaps a version of Simon Cowell singing “Danke Shcoen”, we all missed. I know, most of the 98 million songs I will not want to listen to, so why are the songs I purchased ruined by these songs I don’t want? Because our anger and frustration, might make us pay for the pleasure of what we once had included with the price we pay for a prime membership, a price that has gone up to $129 a year. The “new” app is now just a way to encourage us to pay the monthly fee Amazon wants, which , given the features, you would find a better app to spend $8.99 a month. The new app is useless for people who own their own music and has destroyed the value in buying music or CDs from Amazon, why buy and get a digital copy when you can’t play it without other music being inserted? Better to buy from Apple, where you can still upload music. If you want a music experience, similar to the old Amazon Music, you should just look to Apple, Google or any of the other music apps, they cost more than Amazon Music unlimited, but they are mulch better. In an attempt to force it’s customers to pay for an extra 98 million songs they did not want or need, Amazon killed Amazon Music, all that is left is a 100 million song commercial meant to anger you into buying Amazon Music Unlimited, no thanks. And you might want to start thinking about canceling your Amazon Prime membership,I have, who knows how long we will continue to get free shipping without another “benefit” like two day shipping being switched to seven day shipping if you don’t pay an extra fee, What’s next, are those Echos we all have require us to pay to ask about a recipe or show a video, Imguess allowing people at Amazon to eavesdrop on your private life will still be included free. Might be time to invest in a Google Nest, more I’m looking into. I was wrong to expect more and better of Amazon, I thought they actually cared about their customers, and would reward loyalty for people that bought their music from Amazon, this update I has proven me wrong. Avoid this App if you own or like listening to music. If you like something that is slightly better than bad radio, this is the app for you.

I’m very pleased with Amazon Music. The Prime membership level doesn’t include some of the new releases, but there’s still a whole world of artists and albums to explore included in your Prime subscription. The sound quality is excellent, it’s easy to add stuff to your own personal music library, you can make and save your own playlists and the Amazon-curated playlists are a great way to discover new artists. If you buy an MP3 album from the Amazon store it’s automatically available in the app for streaming, plus you can download the MP3 files too if you want. If you start listening to an album the play queue will consist of the album tracks, however you can locate or search for other songs and choose ‘play next’ to drop them into the queue to create an on-the-fly playlist. The app works well on my Android phone and the app on my Fire TV Stick shows continuous lyrics for each song. The TV app doesn’t have all the features, but you can search for music using the built-in Alexa voice commands, which is very entertaining if you’ve never used it before! If you’re an old school vinyl and CD owner like me I can recommend signing up for Prime and giving it a go.

Man kann sich Playlisten ohne Ende raussuchen es ist wirklich immer was dabei und das auch für jeden Gescmack. Es lässt sich auch einfach mal eine Playlist für eine Feier erstellen egal ob für klein oder groß neue oder alte Musik es ist alles da. I’ve been using Amazon Music Unlimited since it became available and now I’m on Unlimited HD. What you need to understand is that you need to pay for this. It is simply not available with Prime. That deal is extremely limited. Pay the cost and you are handed a music selection that is quite remarkable. It just costs, so get over it and pay the piper. There’s no free lunch! Stop complaining that you can’t get this for free, for heaven’s sake!
But once you pay, it’s quite satisfying. It is somewhat difficult to ask for music Amazon does not have (but it’s possible, of course) and each month the selection seems to improve. Everything is there in lossless CD quality (with HD service) and much is available in even higher quality (so called Ultra HD and their 3D music). That kind of musical high fidelity streaming can’t be beat but it only becomes noticeable if you have the Echo Studios paired in stereo along with an Echo Sub. Otherwise, it’s just not worth it. You can’t hear the HD quality with just a regular Echo speaker. Forget it. The only other option would be the Echo Link.
But HD music sounds so wonderful experienced properly. It’s simply a revolutionary way to listen to music. Everything instantly on demand and of the highest quality. Playlists are a breeze to create and create as many as you like. You can spend the day exploring via the app.
In the last year or so, Amazon has remarkably improved their Classical Music selection. There is now quite a wealth of selections here. Much of it is available in Ultra HD and sounds better than CDs, better than LPs. It is all fairly easily searchable. Most pieces have quite a few performances to choose from.
One of the neatest tricks is Amazon Music’s ability to “Go to the Album” for any single selection. If you combine Amazon Music with your Fire Stick, you can explore it all on your TV. However, the interface there still needs work. Music titles are often clipped and you can’t add to your Playlist from the Fire Stick app. However, the phone app is pretty complete. It does everything easily and gives you virtually complete control.
I highly recommend Amazon Music Unlimited HD. Fifteen a month sounds very reasonable to me for this breadth and depth of selection, utility and control via the app. The Android phone app, with which I’m most familiar, is simply the best. Talk about total control, total selection in the palm of your hand. It’s like having almost everything ever recorded at your fingertips ready to be summoned immediately. Yes, you can ask Alexa to play music, but the Music App gives you infinitely greater, more precise and virtually complete selection control. It has a great search feature. It truly is revolutionary, I feel. Why on earth would you ever use anything else when this is so easy, so complete and so satisfying? Pay the money. It’s so worth it. Virtually everything ever recorded and in the highest fidelity! At your beck and call! We only dreamed of this not long ago.

Il y a un manque d’interaction entre les différents périphériques utilisant Amazon Music.
Et surtout, Amazon Music ne garde pas en mémoire la dernière lecture donc impossible de poursuivre automatiquement un playlist quand on revient dans l’application plus tard ou bien que l’on change d’appareil.
