Starting from the very first book it was amazing and this final book doesn’t disappoint.
The magic system is so cool. You have a specific group of people who have different classes of magic and different levels in those classes. It’s fun to learn about the different skills and how they all work together.
The characters are what bring this book to life! The dynamic between Amylia, Cecily, and Gryffin is so beautiful. The love they have for each other is incredible to witness and I loved getting to see them grow together. There are multiple other groups of people who mesh together so well and it just makes your heart want to burst with love.
Kinley and Echo may be some of the funniest characters to read. I laughed out loud at so much of their dialog.
Everything came together so well in this final book and even though I spent so long sobbing over certain things, I also spent so much more time loving everything about it. I can not recommend this book, this entire series, and everything C.C. Davie has written more.

Life is hard, and we all experience trauma. CC took us on a thrilling ride, but she did an incredible job of illustrating the struggles that come with different types of trauma, as well as the journey of healing and the beauty of embracing the good things in life and the people we love.
